EWHS singer named winner of Seattle-Kobe jazz vocalist competition

The 7th Annual Seattle-Kobe Female Jazz Vocalist from the high school level is Kelila Gottlieb from Edmonds-Woodway High School. Gottlieb auditioned March 21 at Jazz Alley in Seattle and was selected as the high school vocalist by the Seattle-Kobe Sister City Association.  She and the adult female jazz vocalist from the greater Seattle area will receive an expenses-paid trip to Kobe, Japan to perform at the Kobe Jazz Queen Vocalist Contest on May 15.

The Seattle-Kobe Sister City Association  is a  non-profit association that helps promote and facilitate friendly relations between Seattle and its sister city of Kobe, Japan.
