Join Edmonds’ Just Frogs Toads Too Foundation Wednesday, March 9, for this month’s Snohomish County Green Drinks and also celebrate founder Thayer “Frog Lady” Cueter’s birthday at foundation headquarters under Arnie’s restaurant, just south of the ferry terminal. Green Drinks is a monthly networking event for those working in the environmental field.
Cueter was meant to work with frogs. She was born on St. Patrick’s Day, a holiday where kids also receive frog gifts with their four-leaf clovers and leprechaun hats. Growing up, she was known more commonly as “Froggie” or “Frog Lady” than as Thayer. Her love of frogs and her desire to protect them never wavered.
Snohomish County Green Drinks invites you to “bring your glass or mug so you can toast the planet while we figure out ways to NOT toast the planet!” If you wear green, you will get 10 percent off items in the Just Frogs Toads Too store.
