Enjoy the music of Dan Purser at 7 p.m. Saturday night at The Loft in Edmonds. Dan happens to be the son of Edmonds Realtor Wayne Purser, founder of 365 Things to Do in Edmonds, and has been performing music on stage since he was 18, according to this bio on his My Space page:
“With influences ranging from John Mayer to Aerosmith to Prince, Dan Purser’s style of acoustic rock and soul is characterized by complex rhythms, unexpected melodies, and a vocal style full of energy and emotion.
A Seattle native, Dan is a self-taught singer-songwriter who first took the stage at age 18, performing his own original compositions. His live performances are intense and heartfelt, and clearly show his passion for music.
Having developed a large and loyal fan base, Dan plays over 200 shows a year, including local Seattle venues such as the Showbox and Triple Door.”
