Starting Friday: Phoenix Theatre presents romantic comedy ‘Drinking Alone’

The Phoenix Theatre is presenting “Drinking Alone,” a romantic comedy set in the midst of a dysfunctional family reunion,” starting this Friday, April 1 and on Fridays-Sundays until April 23 in Firdale Village.

In this fast-paced Norm Foster play, directed by Rick Wright, Joe Todd hires Renee Duchene to pose as his fiancé for an evening so that he can impress his father, Ivan. Ivan is coming for a rare visit, and Joe and his sister Carrie are suspicious of his motives. What can possibly go wrong?

Tickets are $12-$18 and can be purchased at phoenixtheatreedmonds.com. The theater is located at 9673 Firdale Ave. in Edmonds.
