Fitness instructors at Harbor Square Athletic Club in Edmonds are sponsoring a Zumba Fitness vs. HipHop Hustle “Party in Pink” dance-off event from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday, May 6, with all funds raised being donated to the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure.
The event will be led by a group of instructors, who are donating time for one night. Harbor Square has donated the space in support of group fitness instructor Tomoko Bryant, who was diagnosed with breast cancer late last year. The event will combine two workouts — Zumba and HipHop — in 90 minutes so all participants will get to do both. Cost is $20.
No Zumba or HipHop skills required, no teams and no sign-up — “just fun for everyone,” according to the flier promoting the event.
Real first and last names — as well as city of residence — are required for all commenters.
