Edmonds-area high school sports for Wednesday

BASEBALL

E-W 10, Kamiak 3

Ryan Budnik led the Warriors both on the mound and at the plate against Kamiak Wednesday, throwing a seven-hitter and batting 3-or-4 with two doubles and three RBI at Edmonds Community College. Edmonds-Woodway is now 6-2 league, 9-2 overall and sits in second place in the Wesco South standings.

Meadowdale 7, Lynnwood 6
The Mavericks edged the Royals in extra innings when Sam Thomas drove in the winning run in the bottom of the 10th. Relief pitcher Torin Dooley pitched five scoreless innings for Meadowdale.
