Snohomish Police Officer Cynthia Caterson, Edmonds Police Sgt. Mark Marsh and Edmonds Assistant Chief of Police Gerry Gannon at last year's Tip-a-Cop event.
Members of the Edmonds and Bothell police departments will be waiting tables at Claim Jumper restaurant in Lynnwood from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, April 14 to raise money for the Washington Special Olympics as part of the statewide “Tip-a-Cop” event.

Edmonds police — assisted by local Special Olympics athletes and their families — raised $6,660 during a similar event held at the Lynnwood Red Robin restaurant March 26. The money raised was the second highest amount in Washington for this year’s “Tip-a-Cop” event.  All of the money collected supports the Washington Special Olympics program.
