Experience “An Evening of Everything Edmonds” at the third annual Edmonds Fashion Show Thursday, April 28 at 6 p.m. The show is hosted by the Downtown Edmonds Merchants Association (DEMA) and will feature local merchants and restaurants.
This year’s event will begin with a pre-dinner social hour where guests will be served wine and cheese. A silent auction will take place that will showcase 12 themed gift baskets. Each basket is put together and filled with treats donated by local businesses.
Dinner will consist of small dishes prepared by local restaurants, and will be followed by dessert. Live entertainment will be provided by the Steve Trembley Band, who will keep the tunes rolling throughout the evening.
The main event is a fashion show that will feature the clothing and accessories of local Edmonds merchants. The apparel will be modeled by store employees and local customers.
This is the first year that the event is sponsored by local establishments, said event chair Susan Wilson. All of the proceeds go to the Downtown Edmonds Merchants Association. “The event is not only a good way to showcase apparel, but we have incorporated many other local businesses,” she said.
This event will take place at the Edmonds Conference Center located at 201 4th Ave. N. in downtown Edmonds. Tickets cost $65 per person. Reservations can be made through the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce by calling 425-670-1496, Ext. 3 or online.
