Sea Shepherd Society launches Seattle-area chapter with Edmonds event April 30

The Sea Shepherd Society is hosting a fundraising event for its new Seattle-area chapter from 7-11 p.m. Saturday, April 30 at the South County Senior Center upstairs ballroom, 220 Railroad Ave., in Edmonds.

Those attending can meet the Cove Guardians, including Edmonds resident Scott West and his daughter Elora, who spent months monitoring the killing of dolphins in the Cove in Taiji, Japan. The evening includes a slide show, a dessert bar, silent and live auctions, a raffle and a photo booth. Those attending can sign up for future volunteer training, chapter activities, and much more.
