We received a note from a Starbucks spokeswoman that there are still tickets available for the Starbucks Annual Hot Java Cool Jazz concert featuring the Edmonds-Woodway High School Jazz Band at the Paramount Theatre this Friday, starting at 7 p.m. (Other participating jazz bands come from Garfield, Roosevelt and Mountlake Terrace high schools.)
This is the first year that proceeds from tickets sold at the Starbucks store nearest the respective high school — in this case, the Edmonds Starbucks at the corner of 220th Street Southwest and Highway 99 — will go directly to that school’s music program.
Tickets are available surcharge-free for $18 (adults) and $11 (seniors/students with ID). The phone of the 220th Street Southwest Starbucks is 425-775-4286. So don’t delay — buy your ticket today!
Other participating schools include the jazz bands from Garfield, Mountlake Terrace, Newport and Roosevelt high schools.
