4A District 1 semifinal match
Jackson 1, Edmonds-Woodway 0
The Warriors  lost to the Timberwolves, with Luke Hong scored in the 22nd minute to give Jackson the edge. Edmonds-Woodway (6-11-1) now plays Snohomish Thursday in a loser-out game.


3A District Semifinal
Meadowdale 5, Glacier Peak 4 (8 innings)
The Mavericks qualified for state for the fifth year in a row thanks to John Boone’s RBI in the bottom of the 8th that gave the Mavericks a walkoff victory over Glacier Peak Tuesday. Meadowdale meets Shorewood in the district championship game.  Sam Herzer, who pitched four shutout innings after relieving starter Torin Dooley in the fifth inning, was the winning pitcher. Chris Osborne was 1-for-3 and hit a solo home run for Meadowdale.
