Edmonds Heights K-12 honored with 5th Avenue Award nominations

Edmonds Heights K-12 received several nominations for the 2011 5th Avenue Awards Honoring High School Musical Theater. Awards will be presented at Seattle’s 5th Avenue Theater on Monday, June 6.

Outstanding Overall Musical Production and Outstanding Direction for “The Drowsy Chaperone”

Outstanding Scenic Design, Costume Design and Hair and Make-Up Design and Honorable Mention for Lobby Display for “Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice”

Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, Dakota Daley as “Man in Chair”, “The Drowsy Chaperone”

Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, Hannah Lake as Mrs. Bennett, “Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice”

Honorable Mention for an Actress in a Supporting Role, Erin Beeson as Caroline Bingley, “Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice”

Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, Yusef Mahmoud as Aldolpho, “The Drowsy Chaperone”

Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Featured Ensemble Role, Holly Haney as Mrs. Tottendale, “The Drowsy Chaperone”
