Edmonds Heights K-12 in Pepsi Refresh contest for new playground

Edmonds Heights K-12 has joined the Pepsi Refresh Foundation’s online voting competition to receive a $50,000 grant to install an elementary playground.  Voting takes place online at www.refresheverything.com/playgroundforkids until May 31, and everyone is able to vote four different ways: Pepsi Refresh website, text message, Facebook, and iPhone/Android app.  The top 10 vote-getters will receive a $50,000 grant.

Edmonds Heights K-12 (formerly Edmonds Homeschool Resource Center) has never had a playground for their elementary-aged students, so this grant would meet an important need for the school community, the Edmonds School District said.
