Edmonds is the place to be Memorial Day weekend for great music and hot shopping. From Friday, May 27 through Sunday, May 29 the Downtown Edmonds Merchants will host their annual sidewalk sale. This year’s theme — “Let the Good Times Roll” — will run in conjunction with 2011 Edmonds Jazz Connection, sponsored by the Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club.

Just like great musicians, savvy shoppers know how to orchestrate the best buys during this busy weekend in Edmonds. Each of the more than 30 shops and restaurants will participate in this annual shopping event, including special deals outside in the sunshine, or inside if it rains.

No matter where the goodies are, there will be sale items to scoop up. On Saturday, shoppers can enjoy the 2011 Edmonds Jazz Connection, put on by the Edmonds Daybreaker Rotary, with top jazz musicians and vocalists from local schools and some professionals too!
