Necessary repairs have been completed on the ferry Spokane and it will return to service with the 7:45 p.m. sailing Monday from Kingston, Washington State Ferries said.
The ferry system originally said that the Spokane would be out of service for the remainder of Monday evening on the Edmonds-Kingston route.
The boat had a clogged saltwater intake and it took divers the entire day to remove the debris, the ferry system said.
