Join the Rotary Club of Lynnwood this Thursday night when the club recognizes area youth for their community service, courage, creativity, environmental service, inspiration and leadership. The Youth Challenge Awards ceremony will be at 7 p.m. at Edmonds Community College Woodway Hall.
In addition, special guest speaker Adam Cornell, Snohomish County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and an Edmonds resident, will share his personal story of overcoming many obstacles, and the key elements in his life that kept him in school, and has contributed to his success.
Each nominee will receive a commemorative certificate, and at the end of the evening, plaque and cash award recipients will be announced.
Looking forward to attending. There young adults are impressive with their commitment and dedication to our community and their volunteerism.
Good job kids.
