State high school tennis updates, 4A and 3A

Here are the latest results from the State 4A and 3A tennis tournaments:

In girls 3A singles, Josie Dow defeated Alise McCoy of Bonney Lake 6-1, 6-3. She now faces familiar Wesco South foe Meera Lim of Shorecrest in her next match.

In boys 3A singles, Meadowdale’s Alex Casper lost to Jordan Smith of Mercer Island, 6-3, 6-2. Casper, who won his first match this morning, now drops into the consolation round.

In boys 3A doubles, Meadowdale’s Scott Bohmke and Grant Lovell lost 6-3, 6-2 to Mitchell Anderson/Craig Heflick of West Valley.

In boys 4A doubles, Edmonds-Woodway brother duo of Youngha and Younghan Kim lost 6-4, 6-2 to Hunter Wood/John Stormens of Olympia.

Both boys doubles teams, along with Meadowdale’s Josie Dow at girls singles, are now in the consolation bracket and must continue to win today to play Saturday in the consolation finals.
