The Seattle Storm brought its 2010 WNBA championship trophy to the Edmonds Boys & Girls Club Friday, the result of a contest in March in which kids, parents and community members voted for their favorite clubs in the state. As a result of the voting, Edmonds was one of 10 clubs chosen for the Trophy Tour.
Kids participated in a “dribble, pass and shoot” skills competition and learned basketball fundamentals during the event, which featured the Storm’s mascot Doppler.
