Edmonds-Woodway High School and DANCE IT are hosting a Big Band Swing Dance in the school’s gymnasium tonight at 7 p.m.
The highly anticipated event is open to the public and will feature live performances from EWHS Jazz Ensembles 1 & 2, featuring Jake Bergevin, head of the EWHS Music Department and lead singer of the Javatown Swing Orchestra. Special guest jazz bands from College Place Middle School, Madrona School and Maplewood High School will also play.
Admission is $10 and includes one complimentary dessert and a FREE brush-up dance lesson at 6:30 p.m. featuring Kevin Buster from DANCE IT. Proceeds will benefit the EWHS jazz program. Please use the south entrance to the school.
