Celtic Cowboy barbecue reopens Tuesday

Customers can once again enjoy Celtic Cowboy barbecue.

The Celtic Cowboy barbecue reopens Tuesday at 11 a.m., featuring bagpiper Neil Hubbard from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

The barbecue joint located just off Highway 99 closed shortly after it opened in February to allow owner Steve Freeman time to recover from a medical procedure — and now he and wife Lisa are ready to serve up barbecue and all the fixings for hungry customers. The restaurant is located at 21104 70th Ave. W.

    1. Yum. The beef brisket is every bit as tender and good as I remembered it. The sauce is also incredible, but I’d recommend you take advantage of the fact it is served on the side. Take a bite without the sauce so you can fully appreciate the flavor of the meat.

Having the sauce on the side also means you can take a sandwich to go and the bun won’t be soggy when you eat it.

The place is not so easy to find. 70th runs parallel to and west of Highway 99. Celtic Cowboy is half a block North of 220th St SW.

      Welcome back, Cowboy!
