Clothes for Kids announces top schools in Coins for Kids program

Clothes for Kids, which provide wardrobes for low-income students in the Edmonds School District, has announced the top district elementary and middle schools that raised the most money through Coins for Kids during the 2010-11 school year.

The top elementary schools are:
1. Seaview Elementary
2. Maplewood K-8
3. College Place Elementary
4. Meadowdale Elementary
5. Westgate Elementary

The top middle school money-raiser is Meadowdale Middle School.

Clothes for Kids acknowledged all the schools that participated:

  • Brier Elementary
  • College Place Elementary
  • Cedar Valley Elementary
  • Chase Lake Elementary
  • College Place Middle
  • Edmonds Elementary
  • Hazelwood Elementary
  • Lynndale Elementary
  • Lynnwood Elementary
  • Madrona K-8
  • Maplewood K-8
  • Martha Lake Elementary
  • Meadowdale Elementary
  • Meadowdale Middle
  • Seaview Elementary
  • Sherwood Elementary
  • Spruce Elementary
  • Westgate Elementary

The annual Coins for Kids fundraising event supports the programs of Clothes For Kids while providing a unique opportunity for student community involvement, as students bring in spare change from home.
