Edmonds’ American Brewing to present 4th of Brew-ly Celebration

Tony La Stella

Between the parade and the fireworks, Edmonds is a special place to be on the Fourth of July. Now Edmonds’ own American Brewing has added another reason to enjoy the Fourth, launching a 4th of Brew-ly Celebration starting at 3 p.m.

Doors will open at 2 p.m. for anyone 21 and older. The event includes live entertainment by the Tony La Stella Duo, performing everything from Sinatra to pop music, from 3-6 p.m., plus barbecue from Celtic Cowboy and, of course, beer from American  Brewing Co.

Barbecue will include apple- and oak-smoked pork spare ribs, chicken wings and sausage with homemade sauce on the side ($5 each).  There will also be roasted corn served hot off the coals with smoked garlic butter and a shake of their signature rub ($2 each).

American Brewing beer will be on tap at $4 per pint, including American Blonde, Ed’s Red, Organic Pale Ale, Breakaway IPA and tThe Breakaway Caboose (Oatmeal Stout).

American Brewing is located at 180 W. Dayton in the Harbor Square Business Complex, located closest to the train tracks in Warehouse 102. (Just follow the beer mugs stenciled in the parking lot!)
