Here’s the latest from the Edmonds Police Department files:

May 24:

9900 block of 238th Street Southwest: Female slapped boyfriend on the face. Female arrested and booked at the Snohomish County Jail.

600 block of 6th Avenue North: Complainant found needles and heroin by the dumpster of his apartment complex.

11200 block of 240th Street Southwest: An 18-year-old male was found crying in the middle of the road in the city of Woodway. He was later cited for a minor in possession through the South District Court.

May 26:

7600 block of 212th Street Southwest: Juvenile referral for an intoxicated student at dance.

200 block of 3rd Avenue South: Victim reported purchasing a necklace on Ebay for $3,750 that was not delivered, but instead received a cheap necklace.

21500 block of Highway 99: Report of a counterfeit bill being located during morning money count. A possible suspect was viewed via the security camera.

May 27, 8300 block of 212 Street Southwest: Vandalism to church reported to police while crime was in progress. Suspect not located.

May 29:

600 block of Edmonds Way: Suspect gets angry while pumping gas and throws gasoline on attendant.

23300 block of Edmonds Way: Three subjects shoved their way into an apartment while the resident was home. The subjects then stole a necklace and the resident’s vehicle.

21100 block of 76th Avenue West: Silent alarm of external refrigeration unit at local restaurant results in arrest of one adult male.

    If only we had a crime prevention officer, tragedies like this wouldn’t happen.

    Speaking of crime prevention, didn’t the D.A.R.E. program teach our kids how to safely cross the street?

    The this isn’t the victim’s fault – the word gullible was recently removed from most dictionaries.

    Suggestion for the police – make sure it wan’t a cheap one from Ebay, then check to see if Lindsay Lohan’s home security bracelet is still transmitting.
