Stephanie Wright, appointed by the Snohomish County Council last summer to fill the seat left vacant when Mike Cooper was appointed mayor of Edmonds, will hold her election campaign kickoff starting at 5:30 p.m. tonight — Monday — at the Edmonds Senior Center.
The campaign promises lots of food, so bring your appetite. There’s a $25 suggested contribution. Families are welcome to attend the event. The Senior Center is located at 220 Railroad Avenue.
Wright, a Democrat, will face Republican Kathleen Vaughn in the November general election.
