While Yost Pool officially opens Monday, June 6, the City of Edmonds is providing free swims this weekend for Edmonds residents and their families — just in time for what is supposed to be a (finally!) warm weekend,

Swim free on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 during open swims from 12:50-2 p.m. and 2:10-3:20 p.m.  Edmonds families are asked to bring canned food donations for the Edmonds Food Bank.

According to a news release issued by the City Thursday, “Mayor Mike Cooper wants to thank the residents and Council for their support of Yost Pool over the years. This is also a great opportunity to avoid long lines. Purchase your swim pass and sign your kids up for swim lessons before the pool opens Monday.”

Visit for the pool schedule, pricing and programs.  New programs this year include Aqua Zumba, Pool Play for ages 6 and under, Pirate Camp, Swim Party, and Family Swim. Yost Pool is located at 9535 Bowdoin Way.
