While Yost Pool officially opens Monday, June 6, the City of Edmonds is providing free swims this weekend for Edmonds residents and their families — just in time for what is supposed to be a (finally!) warm weekend,

Swim free on Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5 during open swims from 12:50-2 p.m. and 2:10-3:20 p.m.  Edmonds families are asked to bring canned food donations for the Edmonds Food Bank.

According to a news release issued by the City Thursday, “Mayor Mike Cooper wants to thank the residents and Council for their support of Yost Pool over the years. This is also a great opportunity to avoid long lines. Purchase your swim pass and sign your kids up for swim lessons before the pool opens Monday.”

Visit www.ci.edmonds.wa.us/yost_aquatics.stm for the pool schedule, pricing and programs.  New programs this year include Aqua Zumba, Pool Play for ages 6 and under, Pirate Camp, Swim Party, and Family Swim. Yost Pool is located at 9535 Bowdoin Way.
