Dick’s Drive-In will soon be interviewing candidates for the new Edmonds location, which may be open on Highway 99 near 220th Street Southwest before end of the year.

Dick’s Vice President Jim Spady said the plan is to interview applicants in September and begin hiring in October. New employees will gain experience working at other Dick’s locations until the Edmonds restaurant opens.

You can find information here on Dick’s application process (apply at any Dick’s and say you want to work at the Edmonds location), pay and benefits, which include 100-percent employer paid health insurance, educational scholarships and child-care assistance.

The Edmonds restaurant will be very similar in appearance to Dick’s original location in Wallingford, and will have the same menu, Spady said. The company is planning an event for the Edmonds Dick’s grand opening, he added.
