Join the Edmonds Arts Commission for another of this summer’s Concerts in the Park series, for a free performance by The 85th Street Big Band today at 3 p.m. in Edmonds City Park, 3rd and Pine.
The 85th St Big Band is a lively 19-piece big band playing dance music in the greater Seattle area. They feature swing favorites from the ’30s, ’40s and ’50s, including tunes made famous by Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman and Nat King Cole. The also play blues and seasonal music.
This year’s Summer Concerts in the Park series is generously sponsored by Lynnwood Honda and Acura of Lynnwood. Concerts are presented by the Edmonds Arts Commission on behalf of the Edmonds City Council and are accessible to persons with disabilities.
The next Concert in the Park is Aug. 14 and features the The Diamond Experience, a Neil Diamond Tribute Band.
