Beyond the food: Taste of Edmonds Saturday snapshots

Taste visitors enjoy demonstrations of pentanque, a French game that now has courts at Civic Center Playfield.

Sure, we all know there’s food galore at the Taste of Edmonds. But once you’ve had your fill, there are many activities to enjoy, from browsing the booths of artists to rock climbing to a riding the big slide. And let’s not forget all that live entertainment!

We captured a few photos here, but be assured it’s a small sampling of what’s going on at the Taste, which runs from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday at 6th Avenue and Bell Street.

The reptile demonstration gives kids a closer look at everything from a tortoise to a baby alligator.
The Edmonds-based Miss Peters & May hydroplane is on display for Taste-goers this weekend.
