A new walking program, Step-Out Edmonds, is open to all those 50 and older, sponsored by the City of Edmonds Parks and Recreation Department, the Edmonds Senior Center and Fairwinds Brighton Court.
The group meets Tuesdays at the Senior Center library at 9:30 a.m. now through Aug. 30. Walkers are asked to register at the center’s administration office. A one-time $10 registration fee includes a T-shirt, and all proceeds benefit Edmonds Senior Center programs.
The Edmonds Senior Center is located at 220 Railroad Ave.
