Phoenix Theatre’s ‘Bedtime Stories’ opens Friday night in Edmonds

Friday, Sept. 2 is opening night for the Phoenix Theatre’s presentation of the comedy “Bedtime Stories.”

What do a washed-up radio announcer, a shy middle-aged couple, an aging rock star, and pair of thieves have in common? In the comedy Bedtime Stories, playwright Norm Foster weaves together six hilarious stories taking place in six different bedrooms north of the border. “The result is an evening of laughs and twists that will leave the audience gasping for air,” the theatre promises.

The performances run Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. through Sept. 25 at the theater, located 9673 Firdale Ave. Click here to purchase tickets or call the box office at 206-533-2000. General admission is $18.50 or  $15.50 for seniors/ students/military. The play may not be suitable for those under age 14, the theater warns.
