What happened at the Edmonds Port Commission Monday night


The Port Commission of the Port of Edmonds took the following actions at its regularly scheduled meeting Monday night:

•  Recognized the Port’s new facilities maintenance manager, Brian Menard. He will succeed Bob Yeager who is retiring after 41 years at the Port.

•  Approved an annual contract with Northwest Landscape Services to provide landscape maintenance services.

•  Adjourned to a workshop session to discuss the Port’s strategic plan and matters underlying preparation for developing the Port’s 2012 operating and capital budgets.

The next regular meeting of the Port Commission will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, in the Port Commission meeting room.
