Wilcox lead narrows to 29 votes in Friday primary election count

The latest election results from Snohomish County Friday afternoon show challenger Bob Wilcox leading incumbent Edmonds City Councilmember Diane Buckshnis by just 29 votes. Buckshnis now has 4,289 votes to Wilcox’s 4,318.

In the primary race for Edmonds mayor, challenger Dave Earling maintained his lead over incumbent Mike Cooper, with 5,217 votes to Cooper’s 3,870.

    yesterday that lead had grown to 1,191; today Mr. Earling’s lead has been more than maintained, it has increased to 1,347 votes!
