During its regular meeting on Monday, the Edmonds Port Commission took the following actions:
– Held a public hearing on redistricting the Port’s three commissioner districts as required by law after a decennial census. The census showed a deviation of less than 2 percent between districts, which has been adjusted in the proposed redistricting plan. No action was taken. The final redistricting plan will be approved at a subsequent Commission meeting.
– Approved a contract to upgrade the main Port server, which after five years is nearing the end of its useful life
The Port Commission’s next regular meeting will be at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in the Commission meeting room. Scheduled agenda items include the first public hearing on the Port’s draft 2012 operating and capital budgets.
