Get ready to howl at annual off-leash dog park event Oct. 15

It’s dress-up time for canines at the 7th annual Halloween Howell sponsored by Off-Leash Area Edmonds (OLAE) fron 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Edmonds dog beach.

Highlighting the day is the doggie costume contest at 1 p.m., but the event also includes a silent auction and raffles and pet-friendly booths. Businesses are invited to exhibit at no charge or donate silent auction or raffle items. Everyone is encouraged to become a member of OLAE, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization dedicated to continued support and stewardship of Edmonds’ only designated off-leash dog beach. Memberships are $10 individual, $20 family, $50 supporter, $100 Barking Business Lounge and $250-plus Yappie Club.
