Hot cars, sunny skies grace Edmonds streets Sunday

The weather was warm and the cars were hot for the annual Classic Car Show sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce Sunday. Many show goers enjoyed a free pancake breakfast, courtesy of North Sound Church, to start the day and children were treated to free cartoons at the Edmonds Theater.

At noon, the mood turned somber while the national anthem was sung in remembrance of lives lost during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. War veterans passed out American flags and many attendees wore red, white and blue for the occasion.

We’ve posted a collection of photos taken by Kaitlyn Cole from Edmonds-Woodway High School. Remember to send us your favorite car photos and we’ll share those too.
