The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce is presenting the first of two Chamber-sponsored candidate forums Monday night, featuring candidates for Edmonds School Board and Public Hospital District No. 2.
The meeting will begin in the Edmonds Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the forum from 7-9 p.m.
The next Chamber event, featuring Edmonds City Council and Mayoral candidates, will be in the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 4th Ave. N., on Monday, Oct. 3. Doors open at 6 p.m. with forum from 7-9 p.m.
Also a reminder that My Edmonds News is sponsoring a forum Oct. 17 on the three property tax levies that will appear on the November ballot: $1 million for city services, $1 million for street pavement overlays and $500,000 to fund building maintenance and park improvements. That forum will start at 7 p.m., also in the Council Chambers.
