We’ll be back with Warrior Radio Friday night as Edmonds-Woodway takes on Meadowdale in the annual Stadium Jam game at 8 p.m. in Edmonds Stadium. The weekly audio broadcast, streamed live on the My Edmonds News Warrior Radio page, is sponsored by Edmonds Community College. (Stop by the game early and enjoy a barbecued salmon dinner or a hot dog, with all proceeds going to the Edmonds-Woodway HS Athletic Booster Club.)
Keith Nealey will be calling the play-by-play for the game, with color commentary by E-W football alumnus Steven McGrain. Special guest for the Waldron Chiropractic Pregame Show, airing at 7:45 p.m., is Eric Marty, the former Meadowdale High School quarterback who is now serving as the Mavericks’ offensive coordinator. Marty, who plays professional football in Europe, is now coaching his younger brother Brian, who is starting at QB for the Mavericks this season.
Our online news partner The Seattle Times featured the Marty brothers in this story Thursday.
The special guest on the Warrior Radio Halftime Show, presented by Michelle and Ron Clyborne, is Duane Hodges, EWHS head girls basketball coach, who will talk about the upcoming season.
Warrior Radio is brought to you by the following sponsors: Edmonds Community College, Bob Wilcox for City Council, Edmonds Family Medicine, Edmonds Sports Academy, Michelle and Ron Clyborne, Evviva Pizza and Wesco Athletics. A portion of all Warrior Radio proceeds are donated to the EW Athletic Booster Club.
Should be a fun night! Barbecue, Rivalry game and a lot at stake for both teams.
