Cambodian Freedom Fighter to speak at Fabric of Life Thursday night

Bun Yom, the author of “Tomorrow I’m Dead,” will be the guest speaker at the Fabric of Life Book Club Special Author’s event Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m.

The book is Yom’s first-hand story of his capture by the Khmer Rouge Regime at age 14, the deplorable conditions while he worked as a slave in the Killing Fields, his escape into the Cambodian jungle, and his ultimate rise to becoming the greatest leader of the Cambodian Freedom Fighters, rescuing thousands of Cambodians.

The public is invited to attend the event at the Fabric of Life Boutique,  523 Main St., where the book is being sold. All proceeds from the book, which is $18.56 including tax, go to help survivors in Cambodia.
