Cascade Bicycle Club has announced its 2011 endorsements of “Pro-Bike Candidates,” including the following in Edmonds: Mayor Mike Cooper, City Councilmember Diane Buckshnis and Council Candidate for Position 6 Frank Yamamoto.
“This year’s local elections are a critical opportunity to support candidates who recognize the benefits of bicycling for health and transportation, and who will build bicycling infrastructure in our communities,” the bicycle club said on its website in announcing its endorsements.
