Girls soccer

Kamiak 3, Edmonds-Woodway 1

Maddie Seckman scored twice to lead Kamiak to a 3-1 win over Edmonds-Woodway High in 4A Wesco South soccer action Monday night. Savanah VanCitters scored in the 35th minute for the Warriors’ only score.

The win means the Knights (8-4-1 league, 8-6-1 overall) are tied with the Warriors (8-4-1, 8-5-2) for second place in Wesco South standings behind Jackson. E-W will play Jackson Wednesday night to determine Wesco South’s No. 2 and 3 seeds for the district playoffs.

Meadowdale 4, Marysville-Getchell 0

The Mavs were led by Alisa Sagdahl scored twice and assisted on two other goals. Also scoring for Meadowdale were Roslyn Stapelton and Kearstin Franco. Meadowdale is now 12-3-0 league and overall).

Volleyball

Kamiak 3, Edmonds-Woodway 0

Kamiak downed Edmonds-Woodway 25-13, 25-16 and 25-8. Leading the way for the Warriors was Mikenna Vogel with six kills. Maddie Houvener had 15 assists for E-W.
