The following email was received from a Meadowdale High School parent regarding a lockdown at the school this morning:
Dear Meadowdale Families,
I wanted you to be aware of the facts regarding an incident that occurred at approximately 8 a.m., resulting in an hour-long lockdown. An adult female drove her car up the sidewalk toward the Great Hall and proceeded to walk toward the theater. She did speak with two students and allegedly came in physical contact with one, but neither student was harmed. The driver was taken into police custody without further incident. Lynnwood Police are continuing to investigate. Students and staff conducted themselves well during the lockdown, which was lifted shortly after 9 a.m.
Sincerely,
Dale Cote, Principal
