The Mavericks volleyball team won their Northwest 3A District Tournament semifinal match Monday night, beating Glacier Peak 3-1. Meadowdale dropped the first set, 23-25, but came back and won the next three, 27-25, 25-17 and 25-18.
Payton Shrum had 39 assists and 11 digs and Lindsey Milner had 23 kills, 21 digs and four aces to lead Meadowdale.
The Mavs meet Lynnwood at noon Saturday at Glacier Peak High School to play for the District championship and seeding for the State 3A Tournament.
