Sheriff’s Office seeks public’s help in locating suspect who assaulted Wal-Mart security guard

Police are seeking this shopllifting suspect who assaulted a security officer at the Lynnwood Wal-Mart earlier this month.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is seeking public assistance in locating a robbery suspect who assaulted a store security guard at the Wal-Mart Store at 1400 164th St. S.W. in Lynnwood earlier this month.

According to a Sheriff’s Office news release issued Monday, the suspect attempted to shoplift items from the store Oct. 17. When he was confronted by store security, he assaulted the security officer while fleeing from the store.

The suspect is described as in his late teens to early 20s, 5’10”, 165 pounds, with brown hair and glasses. The suspect was wearing a black shirt, black-and-gray plaid coat, and blue jeans when the robbery occurred.
