You might say the Warriors were in the pink, literally and figuratively, Friday night. After starting 0-3, Edmonds-Woodway earned its third straight victory and the Wesco South league’s No. 1 playoff seed by defeating Kamiak 42-21,
The running game once again came through for the Warriors, as the team ran for 305 yards on 37 carries: Mark Coutee had 155 of those yards on 10 carries while Desmond Young gained 138 yards on 23 carries.
The players, cheerleaders and much of the crowd wore at least some pink during the game to support breast cancer awareness.
