Warriors roll over Redmond 34-7 in Friday night homecoming win

With a 34-7 non-league homecoming win over winless Redmond Friday night, the Warriors can now look to the first round of the 4A Wesco playoffs next Friday night,

The Warriors, who relied on the running game to defeat the Mustangs, got off to a slow start and didn’t score a touchdown until Desmond Young’s 13-yard run with eight seconds left in the first quarter. Thanks in part to Redmond turnovers, E-W was able to score three times in the second quarter and led 28-0 at halftime.

The Warriors scored again on a 1-yard Mac McLachlan run in the third, and the Mustangs finally got on the board with 7:09 remaining in the fourth quarter.
