A warm welcome to our newest sponsor: Goodwill, opening Dec. 1 in Edmonds

My Edmonds News is pleased to welcome new sponsor Goodwill, which is opening its newest retail store at 10117 Edmonds Way at 9 a.m. Dec. 1.

The 16,700-square-foot Edmonds store will be the 21st for Seattle Goodwill, which has 20 retail stores and 10 Job Training Centers throughout the North Puget Sound. While the store won’t open until Dec. 1, the onsite donation center is currently accepting donations from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. seven days a week.

Goodwill plans to hire between 45-50 full- or part-time employees to staff the retail store and donation center. Interested job seekers should visit the Goodwill website. You can also visit the Goodwill Facebook page.

  1. I am very pleased to see how the Goodwill Industries has reivented both the building and parking lot at Westgate. My experience in shopping at Goodwill in Lynnwood was very pleasant. I was impressed with the way they displayed their clothing to their electronics. You can see they take a lot of pride in their retail outlets. In this age of disposal society it’s a pleasure to see the re-use/re-purpose of our discarded items. I for one will be shopping their. Thanks Goodwill for coming to Edmonds.
