Donate Halloween candy to Edmonds dental office and support our troops

Have too much Halloween candy around your house? An Edmonds dental office invites you to donate it to support our troops overseas, and you’ll be entered to win an Apple iPod Nano.

That’s the special Halloween Candy Contest created by Edmonds dentist Dr. Michael Hrankowski and Edmonds Woodway Dental Care. As a result of last year’s Halloween Candy for Troops effort, Hrankowski received the Patriotic Citizen Award from the officers of VFW post 1040 in Lynnwood.

To participate, drop off your candy during business hours at Edmonds Woodway Dental Care at 21810 76th Ave. W., Suite 102. Business hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The drawing for the iPod Nano will be held Nov. 30.

In private practice since 1982, Hrankowski also hosts an annual Day of Caring, where he provides free dental care to neighbors in need.  For more information, call 425-775-3446 or visit
