Edmonds’ LeRoy Bell eliminated from ‘X Factor’

Edmonds singer LeRoy Bell was eliminated Thursday on the Fox TV singing competition, “X Factor,” our  online news partner The Seattle Times reports. It was a double elimination night, and after the group Lakoda Rayne had been voted off, Bell was relegated to the bottom two of nine contestants, The Times said. He had to sing “for his life” against 20-year-old Marcus Canty, from Maryland, and chose “Don’t Let Me Down” by The Beatles. His delivery was noticeably looser than usual — which judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger had been asking for — but in the end they, and votes from the viewing public, sent him home.
