The new Aerospace Loan Program provides funds of up to $4,800 for the 12 weeks of training to enhance applicants’ existing job skills or earn certificates in various aerospace production fields. The loan is available for students who have demonstrated inability to pay the full cost of attending the program.

The Washington Aerospace Training and Research Center was created to help meet the demand for skilled aerospace workers in Washington. The certificate programs include Aerospace Manufacturing Core Skills (four weeks), Aerospace Assembly Mechanic (eight weeks), Aerospace Electrical Assembler (eight weeks), and Composite Manufacturing and Repair (four weeks).
