Seattle Goodwill is busy preparing the space that will house their newest retail store in Edmonds. Located at 10117 Edmonds Way, the 16,700-square-foot store will be the 21st store for Seattle Goodwill, which has 20 retail stores and 10 Job Training Centers throughout the North Puget Sound.
The new Edmonds location will create employment opportunities in the local community. Goodwill plans to hire between 45-50 full- or part-time employees to staff the retail store and donation center. Interested job seekers should visit the Goodwill website for more information.
A Goodwill donation trailer is already on the site. Donations can be dropped off seven days a week from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Edmonds Goodwill Store will hold its grand opening on Thursday, Dec. 1, at 9 a.m. The festivities will include giveaways for shoppers and a free drawing with prizes all weekend long.
